How to publicise your blog and gain more traffic.

   Putting your Website or Blog on the web - either an intranet or the open World Wide Web, is the most exciting part of the Web publishing process.

   For this part, you don't need any tools, except possibly a File Transfer Protocol (FTP)  program to move your Website or Blog to the Web server. Usually your Web hosting service supports this process.

  *Follow these simple steps to publish and publicise your Website or Blog :

   1. Put your contents and links together and test it.

    Check that you have all the contents and links in the place that you want them and then test each Webpage and the entire site.
   You can use a Web browser not only to see what your pages look like but to follow links from your site to other sites;
   If you are using WordPress or Blogger, there is link provided for you to view your Website or Blog.
   *Note that people can't see your contents on the Web until you publish it.

   2. Put your content on the Web

    This is when it becomes visible to the public to view. Keep it in mind to test it again after publishing it on the server, especially all the links, make sure that they really take you somewhere because nothing is more frustrating than clicking on a broken link.

   3. Publicise your Website or Blog.

    It's very important to get some users on your site or blog. Use Web resources, Tell your friends, Run Ads on the Web, run Ads in print and broadcast media and especially get related Websites or Blogs to put in links to your site or blog.

   4. Feel happy and proud of your Website or Blog.

    Having your site up and running is something to be happy about and being proud of your blog is a key factor that makes it grow
   it give your the motivation to publicise your site or blog anywhere you go, on social media, to friends etc... Knowing that your site or blog is up to the standard.
